Africa Agribusiness Market Space (AAMS) Profiles
Dear participant,
The intent of this registration form is to gather relevant information for establishing an Africa Agribusiness Marketplace. The Marketplace will track the cross-border trade prospects of African agribusinesses and seek to match them with investment/partnership opportunities, as well as competencies and skills across the various value chains.
The Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) is the apex continental organization responsible for coordinating and advocating for agricultural research-for-development. (AR4D). FARA serves as the technical arm of the African Union Commission on matters concerning agriculture science, technology and innovation. As the consortium implementation of CAADP XP4, FARA, Africa Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (AFAAS) and the Sub Regional Organizations (CCARDESA, CORAF & ASARECA) are establishing a compendium of agribusinesses to enhance collaboration and strengthen capacities for interregional trade. This may include opportunities arising from the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (ACFTA) agreement.
